The word rebirth is often used to refer to Christianity, with the idea of reviving the dead by bringing them back to life.

A lot of movies about Jesus go through many different versions before arriving at the final version. For example, if we are to believe that Jesus had an intense religious conversion after his resurrection, then the movie version would have to have a lot more of those kinds of changes.

To be fair, even Jesus’ disciples must have been aware that they were no longer in their physical bodies. They didn’t just wake up and realize their lives were over, they were in the state of transition where they were experiencing Jesus’ resurrection but didn’t know it. Which is why Jesus’ disciples are saying that they are the ones who are the true disciples.
